Mowls are small X types who’s true origin is unknown. They prefer to live in a wooded area and seem to prefer Autumnal weather. They are known to build nests from dry fallen leaves and hibernate during Summer when left in the wild, tamed Mowls, however, never hibernate.
Mowls are known to become very attached to their owners and often have separation anxiety when apart from their owners for long periods of time. If abandoned by an owner Mowls evolve into a Demowl and if an owner dies they will evolve into a Cowl. Mowls will also evolve into Sprowls when they become mothers and fathers. Some Mowls also evolve into a strange form when never finding friendship or a mate known as the Autowl.
While their origins are not known, they do contain unearthly DNA as well the DNA of Earth's owls and moths. Some theorize they are a result of Mon altering with some form of X type while others say they are a form of the first discovered X type, M.
